Programmable power supply.
Yorba Linda, CA — B+K Precision Corporation's Model 9130 is a fully programmable, Triple Output DC Power Supply delivering 0-30V at 0-3A on two outputs and 0-5V at 0-3A on one output. Each output is fully floating and outputs can be adjusted independently or connected in series or parallel to produce higher voltages or currents.

According to the company, the product offers exceptional stability and accuracy and is an especially suitable supply for electronic test, production, and service applications where multiple independent DC supplies are required and bench space is at a premium.

The supply provides 3 independent, fully programmable and electrically isolated outputs, displays and adjusts voltage and current settings for all 3 channels simultaneously. Its flexible output configuration allows operation in series or parallel tracking mode, while providing excellent stability and regulation.

Other features include: 1mV and 1mA display resolution; communicate via standard USB or optional RS-232 interface cable; SCPI compatible command set; OVP (Over Voltage) and OTP (Over Temperature) protection; 50 memory locations for instrument state storage and recall; closed case calibration.

The instrument's application software provides for front panel emulation and simple test sequence generation. The unit has a very compact footprint (rack mountable 2U x + U).

The Model 9130 is designed to meet the needs of today?s applications that require clean, reliable power and excellent performance. New microprocessor control circuitry permits the Model 9130 to offer unmatched temperature stability and a load regulation of 0.01 percent +3mV. The unit can power-up to the same state it was when it was powered-off. This allows the supply to go back to work as soon as power is restored whether the power-off was intentional or caused by a power outage. There is enough non-volatile memory to store up to 50 power supply settings allowing quick and easy testing when multiple voltage and current values are required.

For safety, the unit utilizes 4mm sheathed safety banana jacks. The jacks are designed for safe interfacing and allow the unit to meet the latest international safety standards. Front panel indicators and controls include a power switch, a high resolution LCD, closed case calibration, and encoder knob for quick analog-like control. The compact benchtop unit (3.45 x 3.8 x 13.9-in.) (214.5 x 88.2 x 354.6mm) weighs 19.8 lb. (9 kg).
