DEK: Print Platforms Meet Advanced Challenges
Print platform.
Flemington, NJ — DEK is showcasing its range of powerful print platforms encompassing the proven Galaxy, Europa and Horizon platforms. The demonstration of the high-end Galaxy platform will highlight how this machine has redefined the upper performance limits for high accuracy mass imaging. The platform easily handles advanced semiconductor packaging and high precision SMT assembly convergence.
Galaxy is engineered to handle advanced packaging challenges including wafer-level CSPs, flip-chip, µBGA and ultra-fine pitch SMT. Also highlighted will be a selection of key DEK Productivity tools including its popular enclosed print head technology, ProFlow. In addition, the Galaxy exhibit will also feature Cyclone, the understencil cleaning technology that cuts conventional cleaning times in half.
Europa RTC will demonstrate core cycle times of just four seconds, using the company's RTC (Rapid Transit Conveyor) high-speed board transport technology. According to the company, the Europa platform delivers these ultra-fast cycle times without compromising stability, accuracy or repeatability. Especially suitable for manufacturers looking to keep pace with the demands of high volumes and miniaturization, Europa RTC reportedly provides an exceptional performance for a variety of applications.
Also on display is the Horizon platform, described as being a robust, reliable and stable system with advanced HD Grid-Lok
®
tooling technology. Being showcased on the value-driven Horizon 03i and productivity-focused Horizon 02i, HD Grid-Lok builds on the company's proven pneumatic Grid-Lok tooling technology.
