First Ever RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition
Framingham, MA — Brand-new RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition is scheduled for October 25-26, 2007 at the McEnery Convention Center, San Jose, California. The two-day event will provide a multifaceted educational forum and trade show dedicated to addressing the technical issues involved with the design and development of commercial robotic products. The RoboDevelopment Exposition Hall will provide attendees with hands-on access to the latest design and development solutions for producing mobile robotics and intelligent systems technology, while the
RoboDevelopment keynotes and general sessions are specifically designed to impart to technical professionals the information they need to develop the next generation of personal, service and mobile robots.
Produced by Robotics Trends and EH Publishing, RoboDevelopment offers two days of talks, demonstrations and special events. National Instruments will sponsor this inaugural RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition, and the keynote address will be given by Ray Almgren, vice president of product marketing and academic relations at NI.
"I am very pleased to announce the participation of National Instruments in the RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition as a sponsor," said Dan Kara, conference chairman and President of Robotics Trends. "National Instruments is a well known and highly respected provider of industry-leading tools for designing, prototyping and deploying complex, automative systems including autonomous robots and robotic technology."
Other keynote presentations will be given by industry leaders Tandy Trower of Microsoft Robotics Group, Paolo Pirjanian of Evolution Robotics, Lloyd Spencer of Coroware, and Dan Kara of Robotics Trends.
RoboDevelopment will cover the most critical industry topics organized in three extensive tracks: Design, Development and Standards, Tools and Platforms, and Enabling Technology.
On the show floor will be amazing life-sized humanoid robots "Dexter" and "Monty" from Anybots as they make their very first public appearance.
Robotics experts and pioneers will scour the packed Expo Floor to gain hands-on access to the latest design and development solutions for producing robots and robotic technology.
Show producers are expecting more than 1,000 attendees, including design and development engineers, system architects, software engineers, hardware engineers, engineering management, and business decision-makers.
The conference's extensive academic outreach program will draw the future of the robotics industry to the event, which emphasizes the design and development of commercially viable personal, service and intelligent mobile robotics products — an industry that is expected to be twice the size of the industrial robotics market by 2010, and almost 4 times its size by 2025.
