Count-On Tools: DigiTorque & Ceramic Nozzles
Siemens ceramic nozzles.
Gainesville, GA — The new PB DigiTorque®? V2.0 combines the reliable release mechanism of a torque device with the good grip and handiness of a standard PB SwissGrip screwdriver. Thanks to its pleasant grip and resistance to chemicals, the new tool is especially suitable for jobs requiring maximum ergonomics and quality. The special PB mechanism allows an ultra-small triggering angle for ergonomic performance. In machining and delicate assembly work, it is extremely important to be able to control the tightening torque for screws. PB Swiss Tools are being shown at ATE Expo. The new DigiTorque's trigger rate can be simply changed with the additional hex driver by inserting it into the handle and turning left/right. The current trigger value can be seen immediately on the digital display at the end of the handle.

The DigiTorque is available in three ranges: 10 to 80 cNm (0.89 to 7.08 in-lbf); 0.4 to 2.5 Nm (0.30 to 1.84 ft-lbf); and 1.0 to 5.0 Nm (0.74 to 3.69 ft-lbf). Each tool comes with certificate of tolerances, ±6 percent, according to EN ISO 6789. It is fully functional with all interchangeable PB 215 blades (over 40 to choose from).

The new series of Siemens ceramic replacement nozzles being shown at IPC Midwest reportedly offer more efficiency and outlast all competitors' nozzles, even OEM-supplied. Special vacuum geometry provides excellent performance in the machine which saves time and money during production. The machined bodies are flexible, so that they will not crack or break under normal working conditions. These new nozzles are value priced so that they are competitive in the market worldwide. These new ceramic versions are available in the 901, 902, 904, 906, and 925 versions.
