Multi-Axial Connector from Anderson
Multi-axial rotational connector.
Sterling, MA — Anderson Power Products is introducing its Multi Axial Rotational Connector (MARC). Well suited to medical and mobility applications, the MARC is designed to mate while traveling through an arc with a 3-in. minimum radius. The MARC is rated to 30A and combines power, signal, and ground circuitry in one package. The connector utilizes eight Powerpole circuits integrated into a blind mate housing and uses the company's special flat wiping contacts. It can be configured with 8 standard length contacts or 6 standard length and 2 pre-mate ground contacts. The connector has mechanically keyed housing to ensure proper mating and to enable rotational blind mating with approximately 0.090-in. of error correction.

The connector is rated for 10,000 mating cycles and constructed of a chemically resistant PBT plastic, making it extremely rugged and durable. It is UL listed.
