Introduction to U.S. Tech Interactive

About our new website.

We’re excited about our third major upgrade to us-tech.com. Fully active-server driven, the site now enables us to directly upload news articles daily, to place photos and other content, and to track views of sections, articles, specific pages, as well as advertisements and clickthroughs.

Readers have found the combined use of the newspaper and website to be very convenient. In effect, there’s nothing to write down or remember -- all news releases and articles that appear in the paper are search-engine retrieveable on the site.

Widespread use of abstracts throughout the site enables convenient browsing that rivals that of our hard-copy newspaper.

Accessible around the world.

The numbers are preliminary, as the site is so new, however, out-of-country viewing rates are high and getting higher. See initial data indicators noted below.

Early statistics.

68% of viewers came from bookmarks, excellent

7.5 page views per unique visitor

Approx. 20% of viewers click through to advertisers

Search-engine-generated viewers came from the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany, China and India, (ranked order) indicating high international interest, commensurate with international activity.

Going Chinese.

The autumn of 2007 will see the first online issue of U.S. Tech Interactive with all editorial translated from English into Mandarin Chinese and loaded onto a site fully dedicated to Chinese-speaking viewers. Millions of Asia/Pacific viewers whose home and business language is solely Chinese will gain access to our editorial content and China-targeted web advertising.

The upcoming launch has been heavily promoted via e-mail. We’re excited and looking forward eagerly.
