Nordson Names Frank Burkus New Business Development Manager
Duluth, GA — Frank Burkus has recently joined Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq: NDSN) as global business development manager for new materials in the Adhesive Systems Group. Frank will be based in Duluth, Georgia, reporting to Eric Luftig, global marketing manager for Nordson's Adhesive Systems Group.
In this new position, Frank will be responsible for assessing and managing new global business development opportunities and leveraging the breadth of current and potential Nordson technologies to help solve materials processing and delivery needs across various industries.
Frank comes to Nordson Corporation from Momentive Performance Materials, formerly General Electric (GE) Silicones, where he spent ten and one-half years leading the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives. Prior to his time at GE Silicones, Frank spent two years as a chemist at General Electric's Global Research and Development Center where he was at the forefront of breakthrough catalyst and silicone coating development programs.
