Mobile Internet World Slated for Boston
Westborough, MA — Mobile Internet World Conference and Expo will be held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston on November 13-15, 2007. Mobile Internet World is the first conference to focus on the emerging mobile Internet industry — its components, its challenges, and its promise to become the fastest growing marketplace in the telecommunication industry within the next five years.
The line-up of speakers embodies the type of next-generation players that will enable consumer and business access to information in the new era of the mobile lifestyle. All key mobile technologies, applications and mobile content and advertising communities will be present to discuss the future of the mobile internet ecosystem. The Mobile Internet World conference program features three days of seminars, workshops, executive summits and web development tutorials, with over 75 industry thought leaders presenting. Keynote speakers include Dirk Wierzbitzki, Director of Consumer Internet Services & Platforms of Vodafone, Emily Nagle Green, President and CEO of Yankee Group; Tim Berners Lee, Director of the Word Wide Web Consortium; Colin Spence, COO of BT Americas; Rob Glaser, CEO of Real Networks; and Len Lauer, Qualcomm Group President.
Other speakers include representatives from companies and associations such as 3, Google, Major League Baseball, Third Stream Media, W3C Mobile Web Initiatives, and WiMAX Forum. Topics range from Mobile Internet Emerging Business Models, to Global Wireless Industry Trends, to Anywhere Entertainment and Gaming, to Open Development Standards, to Marketing and Advertising on the Mobile Web.
