Alliance Magnetics Intros Business Initiative
Ossining, NY — A new business initiative for the electronics industry, AMExchanges.com, has been introduced by Alliance Magnetics. The website is a B2B auction site for recyclable material and overstock inventory specifically for use in the electronics industry.
The website's primary function, according to Alliance Magnetics, is to allow manufacturers and distributors to post online production scrap material or overstock components for interested buyers. Scrap can include but is not limited to copper, lead frames, solder flux, and even packaging materials. Overstock is any item that should not continue to be a burden to a company's inventory, but could be of particular value to someone else.
As a special offer to attract new participants, the company is offering a 20 percent discount of its service fee for the first 5 transactions in 2007.
