Off-the-Shelf Medical Power Supplies from Excelsys
Off-the-shelf medical supply.
Rockwall, TX — Excelsys Technologies is now providing medical approved power supplies off-the-shelf — the Xmite Series of 200/400/600 watt supplies, the latest in end-user configurable power supplies. These supplies offer users custom outputs that they can configure themselves in a few minutes while maintaining all safety agency approvals. Typical applications include medical lasers, monitoring systems, radiological imaging, clinical diagnostics and chemistry.

Measuring only 10.54 x 3.50 x 1.59-in., the Xmite Series is safety qualified to UL60601-1/EN60601-1 for medical applications. The Xmite family consists of 3 powerPac chassis rated at 200, 400 or 600W which may be populated with up to 4 powerMod output modules offering DC outputs ranging from 1.5 to 58VDC.

Universal AC input with active PFC and powerful status and control functions like remote on/off, remote sense, current share, voltage trim, and power good signals make this power supply especially suitable for system developers. A combination of low loss technologies with planar magnetics and surface mount technologies enables 90 percent efficiency reduced thermal dissipation of more than 50 percent over conventional designs.

Evaluation units and kits are available immediate delivery with production lead time up to 8 weeks.
