Comchip Intros Hi-Density Low Vf Schottky Bridges
Fremont, CA — Comchip Technology is now offering a series of High Density Low Vf Schottky Bridge rectifiers CDBHD120L-G thru 1100L-G (1A) and CDBHD220-G thru 2100-G (2A).
Because of the company's advanced packaging technology, putting 4 Low Vf Schottky diodes into a Mini-DIP package is now possible. As a result, CDBHD series help save 50 percent board space compared with 4 individual SMA Schottky diodes and is 25 percent more efficient than standard bridge rectifiers with its low Vf characteristics, reducing Vf from 1V to 0.75V at 100V.
Because of their small size and high surge current capability, the rectifier bridges are especially suitable for high efficiency inverters, Voice over IP (VoIP), Power over Ethernet (PoE), network equipment, computers, and communication devices. They are lead-free and meet RoHS requirements.
Specs for low Vf Schottky Bridge Rectifiers CDBHD120L-G through CDBHD1100L-G: average forward current — 1 Amp; reverse voltages — 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100V; Vf — 0.44V ~0.75V.
Specs for Schottky Bridge Rectifiers CDBHD220-G thru CDBHD2100-G: average forward current — 2 Amp; reverse voltages — 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100V; Vf — 0.5V ~0.75V.
