Yorba Linda, CA — B&K Precision Corporation's Model 830B Capacitance Meter is a compact, hand held, light weight, battery powered test unit featuring a large 4-1/2 digit LCD display, 11,000 counts resolution, and nine automatically selected ranges with full scale value from 1.0pF to 199.99µF.

Designed to meet the latest international safety standards, the instrument's dedicated chip and microprocessor allow the user to program high/low limits, or utilize pre-programmed capacitor tolerances. Software and cabling are provided for PC based data logging and monitoring via a USB interface. The PC-based data logging capability allows the user to remotely monitor, record, and track problems and significantly improve maintenance performance. The unit is especially suitable for measuring values, inspection, sorting capacitors, and testing capacitors against standard tolerances. Its large LCD dual display can simultaneously display values and deviations from selected tolerances. The unit can also sort on preset tolerances of 1, 5, and 10 percent. The built-in chip and microprocessor allow the user to program unique values to sort specific circuit applications.

The instrument can be programmed with unique values to sort for specific circuit applications; USB PC interface and data logging software are included; it is 9V battery operated.
