Flextrac: Plastic Chain Belt Conveyors
Flexible conveyor system.
Cincinnati, OH — New Flextrac Plastic Chain Belt Conveyors from QC Industries can move heavier loads faster over longer distances than standard flat belt conveyors. With load capacities up to 500 lbs and speeds up to 375 feet per minute, the conveyors can meet the needs of almost any application. The conveyors are offered as standard up to 30 feet long, with lengths up to 100 feet available through special order. These features are all contained within a low 2.41-in. profile (3.03-in. at the drive end), allowing them to fit in tight quarters where conventional conveyors will not fit.

Conveyor widths of 4 to 24-in. are available, with a variety of side profile options for product containment. Each conveyor incorporates wear strips and center supports to ensure long belt life and quiet operation. According to the company, its Lube-for-Life Bearings make these conveyors virtually maintenance-free, with a permanent micro-poly lubricant eliminating the need to periodically lubricate bearings.

The Flextrac conveyors are available with more than 100 styles of industry-standard 1-in. pitch belting. Available belts include flush grid or flat top styles in a variety of materials, from low cost polypropylene to polyethylene with anti-microbial additive to a super high temperature composite. Specialty belts are also available, including roller-top belts for accumulation, high-friction belts, and nub-top belts for easy product release. A wide variety of accessories, including sides, guides, mounts, stands, drive packages and controls allow the conveyors to be adapted to virtually any application, including packaging, automation, medical product and device manufacturing, assembly, material handling, manufacturing, and clean rooms.
