Aimtec Extends Temp. Ranges for AC-DC Converters
AC-DC converters.
Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, Canada — Aimtec has expanded its six existing AC-DC series to include models with one of the widest operating temperature ranges in the market: -40°C to +70°C. This expansion extends to AMEL05Z, AME05Z, AMEL10Z, AME10Z, AME15Z and AME30Z switching power series, targeting outdoor applications such as security systems, instrumentation, test equipment, lighting, simulators and industrial manufacturing equipment. These encapsulated, PC board mounted modules offer a universal input range of 90 to 260VAC, 47 to 440Hz as well as DC inputs of 120 to 370VDC with output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24V in single, dual, dual separated and triple output configurations, depending on the series. Feature rich with inrush current limiting, EMI filtering, UVLO/OVLO to avoid false triggering, regulated outputs, over current, over voltage, short circuit protection and low ripple and noise makes these robust, compact and cost-effective products compatible for a multitude of design requirements. CE certified and listed with cULus, all AMEL05Z, AME05Z, AMEL10Z, AME10Z, AME15Z and AME30Z series are made with high quality, RoHS compliant materials that undergo rigorous quality control to ensure reliability and performance.
