Spokane Valley, WA — ACE Production Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of selective soldering systems for electronics assembly, has acquired all of the Drop-Jet Spray Head technology and Spray Head related products from Castle Controls & Automation, LLC. The purchase and sale agreement was announced recently by Alan Cable, President of ACE Production Technologies and by John Radtke, President of Castle Controls and Automation, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Castle Controls & Automation, LLC has been a provider of turnkey automation solutions since 1978, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic disciplines, motion control and vision system applications.

"Our newly acquired Drop-Jet spray head technology is unique in its serviceable design and choice of materials" Al Cable stated. "This design has proven to be compatible with all liquid fluxes, unlike other, less serviceable products." ACE will immediately offer the Drop-Jet flux head as an option on its selective soldering products and will release standalone and in-line fluxing products in coming months.

Mr. Radtke will accept a position on the ACE engineering team where his 25+ years of controls and automation design experience will enhance ACE's strong and growing position in the Selective Soldering marketplace.
