Kycon Intros Board-to-Board Connectors
Board-to-board connectors.
San Jose, CA — Expanding its connector line to meet the growing global demand, Kycon has introduced a full range of Board-to-Board connectors, focusing on 0.50mm through 2.00mm pitch board, for both surface mount and through-hole applications. The company also has a full line of 0.50-mm and 1.00-mm FPC/FFC connectors, in addition to its I/O connector offerings.

Micro Board-to-Board products include the K050 and K080 series plug and socket, with pitch versions of 0.50mm (0.020-in.) and 0.80mm (0.031-in.) respectively. The K050 series offers dual points of contact per position for added reliability and enhanced performance. Mating heights range from 3.5mm to 6.5mm with pin counts ranging from 10-120.

The KFPC series offers the Flexible Flat Connector (FFC) and Flexible Printed Connector (FPC) with pitch versions of 0.50mm (0.020-in.) and 1.00mm (0.039-in.), and pin counts from 4 to 50. Both FFC and FPC are offered in Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) and non-ZIF versions.

The company's Board-to-Board products are all RoHS compliant and available on tape-and-reel or in tubes.
