Daburn Intros Micromini Teflon Hook-Up Wire
Ultra-thin hookup wire.
Northvale, NJ — Daburn Electronics & Cable Corp. has introduced Daflon Micro-miniature Teflon Hook-up wire, series 2451, designed for medical, aircraft, missile and space applications. The ultra-thin wires will operate from -90 to +250°C and are rated for 300V.
The Daflon Micro-miniature series is made of a single conductor of stranded silver-plated copper wire covered with multiple layers of PTFE insulation. The unique insulation process allows for controlled concentric layers of TFE, creating uniformity of quality and flexibility.
Standard constructions are #30AWG to #38 AWG using 7 strands of silver plated copper. Insulation walls range from a nominal 0.0019-in. to 0.0034-in.; ODs from 0.0089-in. to 0.0188-in. The series is available from stock in 4 colors: Black, Red, Green and White. Additional colors are available on special order.
The items in this series may be configured into a laminated flat ribbon cable or twisted to form multi-conductor round cables.
