Bannockburn, IL — IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries — and European Institute of Printed Circuits (EIPC) have issued a Call for Papers for their Executive Market and Technology Forum Conference and Management Meetings, October 10-12, 2007, in Copenhagen. Innovation will be the theme of the three-day event.
Electronics industry leaders, technologists and analysts, as well as consultants, academics and economists are invited to submit abstracts. Presentations should focus on business, technology and market trends that will affect printed circuit board fabricators, electronics manufacturing services companies, original equipment manufacturers and suppliers of materials and equipment.
Leading off on October 10, the one-day Management Meetings, "Managing in the Electronics Industry for Profitability and Sustainability," will focus on the challenges facing executives in the EMS and assembly equipment industries.
Speakers and instructors are sought to address developing effective business models and profitable customer/supplier relations. The meetings will also feature roundtable discussions and collegial exchange on business issues surrounding global expansion, managing a global supply chain, and the impact of innovation and technology trends on operations.
On October 11 and 12, the Executive Forum Conference, "Success through Innovation: Profitability and Competitiveness in the European and World Markets," will provide decision makers with insight on market and technology trends affecting the industry. Abstracts for presentations are invited in the following areas: OEM technology roadmaps, especially in the mobile phone and automotive industries; challenges of implementing new technologies; and other critical factors impacting today's strategic business decisions.
