Peters Intros One-Pack Conformal Coating
Conformal coated circuit board.
Kempen, Germany — One-pack Elpeguard® SL 1400 ECO-FLZ conformal coatings from Peters reportedly provide optimal climatic protection at high temperatures and high humidities (85°C/85 percent RH). The coating layer is typically laid down at a thickness of 30µm.

The material initially cures physically and then final cure happens by reacting with humidity. The conformal coating is colorless and transparent.

The UL approved coating is flame retardant to class V-0 according to UL 94. A trace Lab Report on the test according to IPC-CC-830B is available.

The conformal coatings are also ecologically friendly: they have a high solids content, are free of aromatic solvents and heavy metals and thus also fulfill RoHS/WEEE requirements.
