New Size 23 Linear Actuators from Haydon
Size 23 linear actuators.
Waterbury, CT — Haydon Switch & Instrument, Inc. has introduced size 23 hybrid linear actuators available with a 0.9° step angle. This new step angle is designed for higher resolution and allows for a full step linear movement of 0.0000625-in. (1.6µ).
Like the 1.8° version, this actuator is available in all four designs: captive, non-captive, external linear, and linear rotary. Combined with a stainless steel lead screw, the linear actuator delivers an extremely smooth, precise motion. The company's linear actuators are designed for applications that require long life, reliability, precise positioning and rapid motion.
The complete size 23 product line has resolutions ranging from 0.0000625-in. (0.0015875mm) to 0.003125-in. (0.079375mm) per step, with operational thrust capabilities of up to 200 pounds. These models can also be micro-stepped for even finer resolution. These high resolution hybrid linear actuators have been specially engineered to deliver high speed, force and endurance. They incorporate a production-proven, patent pending rotor drive nut that delivers trouble-free, long-term performance.
Priced competitively, this product is especially suitable for drop-in replacements to improve performance and life or for incorporation into any new project. In addition to standard configurations, the company can custom design this motor to meet specific application requirements.
