ETCO: Multiple Functions in Custom Assembly Equipment
Custom assemblies and the machine that does it.
Warwick, RI — A wide range of custom built equipment that combines multiple assembly functions and produces very specific finished electrical and electronic parts is available from ETCO Incorporated.
ETCO Custom Assembly Equipment can produce finished electrical and electronic parts by combining multiple functions such as bending, brazing, welding, crimping, cutting, inserting, and attaching components. Capable of throughput up to 3,000 parts-per-hour, this fully programmable equipment can introduce stamped metal lead frames from a reel, press-fit them onto ceramic insulators, and attach and terminate wire leads.
Designed to reduce labor and efficiently produce a finished part that has one SKU number, ETCO Custom Assembly Equipment can accommodate stampings ranging from 0.008 to 0.90-in. thick and multiple components made from ceramics and other materials. The company utilizes rapid prototyping with 3-D solid modeling analysis to provide application engineering assistance.
