High power supply.
Pleasanton, CA — Advanced Power Solutions (APS) has released its 400-Watt Switching Power supply that measures only 8.00 x 5.00 x 1.60-in. with full featured status and control signals to meet the needs of today's leading-edge systems.

These supplies have universal AC input with active power factor correction and single outputs ranging from 2.5 to 58VDC and up to 400 Watts of output power. Today's systems often demand more than raw power from the power supply, and in support of these requirements, this supply offers single wire parallel, remote sense, remote voltage margining (50-100 percent of rated VDC), current monitor, remote on/off and power fail signals with an auxiliary Fan output (12V Fan at 160mA). Additionally, these supplies will satisfy peak loads up to 700 Watts often required from systems during start- up.

For greater flexibility, these supplies offer standard options including: end-mount fan cover; internal OR'ng diodes; constant current operation for battery charging applications; and industrial or medical safety approved models.
