WARWICK, RI – Teka Interconnection Systems, a manufacturer of application-specific and industry-standard interconnect devices, announced today that it has introduced a new line of 0.100” (2.54mm) spacing Press-Fit PC/104’s for the Telecom, Industrial, Military/Aerospace and Automotive Industries.
Teka’s press-fit PC/104’s solutions utilize Interplex Industries’ proprietary “eye-of-the-needle” technology. This technology is a proven interconnect technology that eliminates soldering and improves product quality. It allows for the assembly of Teka’s interconnects with a printed circuit board’s (PCB) plated-through hole in such a way that an electrical connection is created and maintained without the application of solder. Interplex’s press-fit technology has been qualified and employed by major automotive companies around the world.
Jim Zanolli, President of Teka Interconnect Solutions said, “Our new press-fit PC/104 is the next step in offering customers high-quality solderless solutions. Teka is committed to delivering standard connectors with unique interconnect features to meet this evolving need.”
Features and Benefits:
- Stackthrough and Non Stackthrough available in 40 and 64 Positions.
