Nihon Superior Opens New Southeast Asia Headquarters

OSAKA, JAPAN Nihon Superior Co. Ltd., a supplier of advanced soldering materials to the global market, announces that it has opened a new regional headquarters – Nihon Superior Asia Sdn. Bhd. (NSA), in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

NSA will take over the sales activities of Nihon Superior Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (NSM) and will oversee the sales of Nihon Superior Singapore Pte. Ltd. (NSS) as well as its Indonesian subsidiary. NSM will focus on the manufacture, product development and provision of technical support to Nihon Superior offices in the region. With the opening of the expanded Research & Development laboratory at its Ipoh site in 2013, NSM is well equipped to meet this challenge.

The establishment of NSM has been driven by the need to service the growing demand for Nihon Superior products such as its flagship lead-free solder, SN100C® in Southeast Asia, which is becoming one of the major growth centers for electronics manufacturing. The managing director of the new office is Mr Daisuke Watanabe, who also is the managing director of NSS.

With leadership from NSA, and production capability and technical support from NSM, Nihon Superior is well equipped to provide complete solutions to the electronics industry throughout Southeast Asia.
