Hanover, NH — Hypertherm, a U.S. based manufacturer of plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting systems, has launched its Powermax30® XP, a new plasma cutting system that delivers high performance in a small, portable package.
|Portable plasma cutting system. |
The new system is described as being 50 percent more powerful than its predecessor, yet maintains the Powermax30's light weight and small size. It utilizes a two-in-one design for high power cutting on thick metal and detailed cutting on thin metal using FineCut® consumables. The recommended cut capacity is 3/8-in. (10mm) with a severance capacity of 5/8-in. (16mm).
According to the company, like the Powermax125® before it, the new Powermax30 XP is carefully engineered so it delivers more power to the torch than some higher amp competitive systems. In addition, the new Powermax30 XP contains a redesigned Duramax® torch and consumables that last twice as long as those found on the Powermax30 for a lower overall operating cost.
The system, like all Powermax systems, is easy to use with simple controls. In addition, it is rugged and reliable with to perform in the most demanding environments.
