ACE to host interactive selective soldering tutorial sessions at APEX

SPOKANE VALLEY, WA ACE Production Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of selective soldering systems, announces that it will host interactive selective soldering sessions at the IPC APEX Expo, scheduled to take place March 25-27, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The interactive selective soldering tutorial sessions will be conducted hourly in booth #2634 by well-known process expert Bob Klenke of ITM Consulting providing practical support to visitors who would like to compress the learning curve for those new to the selective soldering process, or for those who would like advance their in-depth knowledge.  This will be a live interactive presentation and is the first time this activity is being offered at APEX.

During the show, tutorial sessions will feature an in-depth presentation covering topics including hand soldering and selective soldering labor comparisons, selective soldering benefits versus wave soldering, wave and selective soldering annual operating cost comparison, through-hole design guidelines and process troubleshooting.  Participants can also pick up a free hardcopy Through-Hole Soldering Troubleshooting Guide outlining possible causes and preventative actions beneficial in resolving common through-hole soldering defects.

Attendees can also participate in a free drawing to win two seats at an upcoming 2-day comprehensive selective soldering workshop to be held at ACE’s Spokane Valley, Washington facility including airfare, 3 nights stay at the Spokane Valley Oxford Suites hotel, all meals and a complementary workshop fee.
