Goepel and Scienscope Launch Cost-effective, semi-automatic X-ray analysis system
JENA, GERMANY -GOEPEL electronic expands the X-Ray analysis portfolio by joining a strategic cooperation with Scienscope International.

Scienscope International, based in Chino/USA, is a manufacturer of optical measurement instrumentation and semi-automatic X-Ray analysis systems.

“With more than 475 successful X-ray system installations all over the world, a high degree of experience and expertise on the subject of manual X-ray inspection (MXI) is available – with GOEPEL electronic we have gained a reputable, service-strong cooperation partner.” says Christian Brozinski, European Sales Manager at Scienscope.

GOEPEL electronic expands the functional range of the established Scienscope systems and offers its customers with the maintenance free 2,5D-analysis system Scope-Line MX a cost-effective access to the world of X-ray.

“GOEPEL offers an all-inclusive package for an easy and smooth entry to the world of X-Ray.”, says Andreas Türk, Head of Automated X-Ray Inspection (AXI) at GOEPEL.

The package consisting of customer training, system installation, radiation protection hints, service and maintenance as well as the approved support and after sales service makes access to this technology easier than ever. Furthermore, the Scope-Line MX is laid out to be a maintenance free system. With closed microfocus tubes and durable detectors equipped, GOEPEL offers a system with high availability and minimal service requirements. The proven GOEPEL AOI/AXI/SPI repair station is directly installed at the machine. Thereby, for example hidden solder joints can be analyzed and classified directly on the X-ray system. There is also the option of generating semi-automatic test programs and testing smaller series of assemblies. The system is equipped with a six-axis system and allows an extreme angle view of 70° and a rotation of the device under test at 360°. Well-known from the Inline-AXI systems, the topoVIEW visualization is also included as well as various test functions for automatic evaluation of BGAs and other solder joints.
