Lapp Opens Cable Tech. Center for Excellence at Shelton State Community College

Florham Park, NJ — The Lapp Group has opened The Lapp Center for Excellence in Cable Technology, a state-of-the-art teaching lab at Shelton State Community College, Alabama. Students will be educated in industrial technology topics designed to better prepare them for the transition from education into the manufacturing workplace. Lapp is supplying high tech cables for students in the mechatronics, industrial electricity and industrial electronics disciplines, and has created a curriculum that will allow students to train with the most up-to-date tools and equipment in the cable industry.
