ECD Announces Key Staff Promotion
MILWAUKIE, OR - ECD, a leading developer and supplier of measurement technologies for diverse industries, today announced the promotion of Kimberly Solonka to the role of Sales Manager.  Previously, Solonka had territory responsibility for Asia, Latin America and the Northeastern region of the Americas.  In her new position, she will direct and oversee all sales strategy and activity worldwide.

Having worked in the electronics industry for over 13 years, the past nine of which have been spent at ECD, Solonka brings broad experience and in-depth knowledge to her role as ECD Sales Manager.  During her tenure at ECD, Solonka has helped hundreds of customers improve yields and reduce costs through successful implementation of ECD’s data-rich thermal profiling and measurement systems.  She looks forward to expanding on that track record, leading a dynamic and committed ECD sales team toward broader global reach and insightful customer partnerships.

“ECD prides itself on developing meaningful customer relationships that contribute to long-term manufacturing success,” explains Solonka. “We want to understand our customers’ processes, customize a measurement solution specific to their needs and maintain a dialogue that encourages continuous improvement and process efficiency.  Ensuring our team delivers on this, all while expanding our business globally, is one of my top priorities as Sales Manager.”

ECD’s growth worldwide has also necessitated the expansion of its sales team.  Industry veteran Wojtek Antoniak rejoins the ECD team as European Business Manager and Craig Johnson has been named SensorWATCH™ Product Manager. Antoniak previously worked for ECD as Asian Sales Director where he made strong contributions to the growth and presence of ECD in the Asia market.  With over 30 years of experience in the electronics industry, Antoniak brings a strong knowledge base and professional network to his role.   He will be based in Warsaw, Poland.    Craig Johnson, who is based in the company’s Milwaukie, Oregon headquarters, has previous sales and marketing experience with both financial services and information technology companies, and will leverage his broad skill set in management of the SensorWATCH product portfolio.

The company also recently extended the territory of top representative firm, IMK Technical Services, to include the New England (Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut) region in addition to its established Canadian market coverage.  All of these new staff appointments are key components of ECD’s continued market progression globally.

Best known for its M.O.L.E.® thermal profiling systems, ECD has pioneered numerous high-accuracy measurement technologies for a broad range of applications including electronics assembly, solar cell manufacturing and baking.  Recently, the company developed and launched its latest innovation, SensorWATCH, a unique MSD/ESD mitigation system that utilizes task-specific temperature and humidity measurement tools to eliminate manual recording, provide instant reports for audit protection and monitor key production floor areas and systems 24/7.

“We are growing on all fronts,” says Solonka in summary.  “Ongoing innovation is delivering new products like SensorWATCH and enhanced capability for our thermal profiling and software portfolio, while global sales expansion is allowing more electronics specialists to benefit from ECD’s ingenuity.”
