A Vote of Confidence

The October/November trade show season is upon us, with such commitments as SMTAI and productronica — both of which get Product Preview coverage in this issue of U.S. Tech. As usual, we will be there, along with bonus distribution of the print edition.

Every month we have to look with wonder and a little awe at the sheer size of U.S. Tech, this month a whopping 104 pages. Yes, this is the result of a lot of hard work by a dedicated staff, but it also means that people still like hard copy, they like to hold a real magazine with heft and real content. Yet there are those many thousands of readers who we reach electronically — with our digital edition by using special free apps for iPAD, iPHONE, and Droid, along with our total website, which is now available in a smart phone app.

What's next? No surprises; after the holidays, we have a whole new year of trade shows, with APEX slotted for mid-March in Las Vegas. It's now set for a flip-flop schedule: 2-years in Las Vegas, and then 2-years in San Diego. This is followed by Nepcon China, then by SMT/Hybrid in Nuremberg — this year, unfortunately the same week as EDS in Las Vegas.

It's a busy schedule, and you can count on U.S. Tech to provide you with the industry news and information that you really need. And every time you pick up a still thick issue, you'll once again be made aware of the ongoing vote of confidence we receive from advertisers every month.
