||OUDENAARDE, BELGIUM - Europlasma NV announces that it has set up a partnership with US based Uyemura International Cooperation.
The partnership covers the United States of America, Canada and Mexico and will be focused on the use of Europlasma’s low pressure plasma technology for conformal coating of electronics and surface finish of printed circuit boards. The partnership will also cover medical and automotive applications, as well as technical textiles.
Europlasma will install state of the art equipment in the Uyemura Tech Center in Southington, Connecticut, and will train Uyemura technical staff to perform sample treatments for North American customers. Sample treatments will include low pressure plasma cleaning, etching, as well as activation. The Tech Center will also be equipped to apply Europlasma’s patented and patent pending Nanofics® nanocoating technology.
Uyemura International Cooperation will develop sales and after sales service for the North American market.
With this latest partnership in North America, Europlasma NV continues its global expansion, with a strong presence in place already in several Asian and European countries.
