NBS Completes Latest Phase of Major Factory Expansion
Santa Clara, CA — EMS provider NBS ( has completed its move into a new facility that expands floor space for engineering and manufacturing operations by an additional 50 percent.

The Silicon Valley company has moved its manufacturing headquarters to Dixon Business Park in Milpitas, into a state-of-the-art facility comprising approximately 60,000 square feet. Founded in 1999 as a PCB design company, NBS delivers a wide variety of leading-edge services in PCB design, product life cycle manufacturing and advanced diagnostics and repair. The company is ANSI/ESD S20.20 — 2007, ISO9000-2001, Lead-Free/RoHS Compliant, ISO 13485, and ITAR certified.

In addition to five automated SMT lines, comprehensive test and repair capabilities (including 2D and 3D Xray, AOI, flying probe and boundary scan equipment) are at the core of what has become the largest EMS capacity in Silicon Valley for number of jobs and production capacity throughput.

There is also greatly increased materials handling and storage space in the new facility, as well as modularly designed systems integration areas optimized for Kanban lean manufacturing processes and rapid job reconfiguration.
