Mag Layers Intros Molded Shielded Inductors
Molded, shielded inductors.
Irvine, CA — Mag Layers USA, Inc. is introducing its MNR series of injection molded power inductors — an excellent fit for the increasing power demand at a cost-effective price. The product is designed for DC-DC converters, flat panel display DC-DC converters, and high current mobile product applications.
The product is a ferrite-shielded power inductor that provides excellent performance packed into a small device. The simple shape allows for saving space on the board and uses a thicker wire to boost performance in this small size. The special ferrite epoxy shield allows high performance without the fear of noise in the circuit. The company has made capital investments in fully automated production equipment for our Taiwan and China facilities, creating a very cost-effective high volume solution.
The 11 devices in the series range in inductances from 1.0µH for the smallest size (3.0 x 3.0 x 1.0mm) to 100µH for the largest size which measures 8.0x8.0 x 4.2mm, and rated current is up to 1.3A for the smallest, up to 7.8A for the largest size.
The entire series is RoHS compliant, Halogen free, and packaged in 100 percent lead-free composite construction.
