Rotherham, U.K. — Amtech, distributors of Purex fume extraction systems in the Czech Republic, sent three key engineers to the Purex plant for some intense training. The Czech distributor, established in 1993, sells a wide variety of products to the electronics industry from solder paste through to wave solder machines. In 2012, Amtech had a turnover of 8-million Euros, which was achieved with only 9 employees.

Three Amtech field service engineers from the Czech Republic visited the Purex factory to strengthen their knowledge of fume extraction systems for hand and machine soldering, conformal coating, ovens and other equipment used in the electronics industry. Also taking the course was Purex's own Tom Peace, a Marketing Apprentice. Purex offers a complete line of fume extraction solutions that are reportedly unlike any in the industry.
