||Research Triangle Park, NC — IMAPS (International Microelectronics Assembly and Packaging Society) has moved its offices from the Nation's Capital to North Carolina. The move comes after the Trade Association conducted extensive and thorough economic and financial analysis regarding such a move to what was believed to be a location more suited for growth and enhanced service.
The ultimate decision for the new offices came down to office suites in the heart of Research Triangle Park, NC.
In the coming months there will be new people on staff and at IMAPS events as the Society adds new support staff to help better serve the membership. A new addition is Ms. Brianne Lamm, who joins as the Membership and Events Coordinator. Ann Bell continues as Advancing Microelectronics Magazine Manager; Brian Schieman, Director of Programs and Technology; and Michael O'Donoghue, Executive Director.
