Universal Instruments Names Mark Norris GM Customer Ops Asia Region
Conklin, NY — Universal Instruments Corporation is supporting a strategic growth initiative by substantially increasing the resources focused on Southeast Asia. With this change, the company has appointed Mark Norris as General Manager of Southeast Asia Customer Operations, reporting to Brad Bennett, Vice President of Global Customer Operations. All customer-facing resources in the region will report to Mr. Norris. In this role, Norris is responsible for growing market share by cultivating and supporting sales of Universal's broad solutions portfolio and range of service offerings in Malaysia, Thailand, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia and the Philippines. He will lead the Customer Operations team from the Southeast Asia office in Penang, providing sales, service and applications support. Norris brings a wealth of experience and industry leadership in international sales and field operations. He most recently held the position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ViTechnology and Camelot for a combined 20 years. For both companies, he developed and managed sales and service in Europe and the whole of Asia.
