ESTOVER, Plymouth, UK -
MIRTEC, the Global Leader in Inspection Technology, announces the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Europe to further strengthen business and local support. Based in Plymouth, UK, this expanded facility allows the company to better support its complete range of automatic optical inspection, X-ray inspection and solder paste inspection systems.
“We were delighted to make 2012 the fifth consecutive year of growth for MIRTEC Europe. This success has culminated in the purchase of a new facility where we will expand the demonstration and training facilities,” said Dave Bennett, President, MIRTEC Europe Ltd.
The new centre is an impressive four times the size of previous offices and is the company’s European headquarters overseeing Continental Europe, Middle East, India and South Africa. Additionally, it features a large demonstration area for MIRTEC’s range of 3D SPI, 2D AOI, and 2D/3D AOI & X-ray systems, and is the company’s premier training school for sales, engineers and customers. It also is a modification centre where options can be added or systems modified to meet customers’ requirements.
“The open-door policy has been extremely popular with both our distribution partners and customers because it allows them to bring their boards and have access to the very latest inspection technologies as a free-of-charge resource,” added Bennett. “If required, our specialists can demonstrate the systems and work with them or, alternatively, we will show them how to use the systems and let them spend as much time as needed using the available equipment.”
MIRTEC Europe prides itself on its business philosophy of providing customers with the highest quality products and services at competitive pricing and recognizes that customers are the source of future growth and, as such, strives for a strong, reliable and long-term partnership based on trust and respect. In short, MIRTEC Europe’s ultimate objective is the absolute success of its customers. This new facility will further help the company meet this goal.
The new facility is located at 71 Sisna Park Road, Unit 10, Estover, Plymouth PL6 7AE United Kingdom.
