LARGO, FL –
The Tampa Bay Business Journal has announced that Bare Board Group, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards fabricated domestically and overseas, has ranked #97 on its annual Tampa Bay Business 100 List.
The Tampa Bay Business Top 100 is a ranking of the top revenue-grossing companies in the privately owned business sector for the previous business year. The list is comprised of headquarters or independent subsidiaries of parent companies located in Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota counties.
While the nation began seeing an upturn in the economy last year, so did many Tampa Bay businesses. According to Tampa Bay Business Journal editor Margie Manning, "revenue at privately owned companies in the Tampa Bay area grew an average 23 percent in 2011, far outpacing many measures of economic growth."
In a year where international circuit board sales were still down on average, Bare Board Group saw growth in overall revenue. "With sales down and competition high in our industry, ranking on the Tampa Bay Top 100 for a second year in a row is a testament to the sales, service and support provided by the entire BBG team," said Bare Board Group President Greg Papandrew.
With the recent acquisition of a high technology domestic manufacturing facility, BBG Silicon Valley, Bare Board Group is positioned to grow sales further in 2013.
