Valencia, CA — Approved by NASA for space flight, Cicoil's lightweight flat silicone cables are designed to withstand extensive exposure to high levels of radiation and dynamic temperature ranges of space (-65 to +260°C) with no adverse effects. The crystal-clear flat silicone-encapsulated cable offers uninterrupted performance, flexibility and mechanical and electrical reliability, even after 10+ years in space. This combination of features makes Cicoil the choice for mission-critical space satellite applications. Each Cicoil flat silicone cable can incorporate a variety of elements including power conductors, shielded signal pairs, video and coax conductors, and other design elements like the company's patented StripMount fastening strip, all in a single compact cable design. Cables are available in continuous lengths, space sensitive custom shapes, cut to order, or as assemblies, complete with connectors to fit the application, 100 percent tested and inspected.

These highly flexible flat silicone cables are halogen-free, Class 1 Clean Room Rated and exceed ASTM E-595 outgassing specifications for vacuum and space use requirements. In addition, these flame-retardant (UL 94V-0) cables do not require conduit or "armor" for protection, and perform flawlessly during exposure to severe vibration, shock, UV light, mechanical stress, G-Forces, chemicals and the harsh rigors of Space.

The Flat Silicone Cables are UL Recognized, CE Conforming, RoHS and REACH Compliant and are manufactured in an automated, climate-controlled environment. For applications that require abrasion and adhesion resistance, the company offers anti-friction coating options.
