AIM Now Offering Lead-Free SN100C Bar Solder Worldwide
Cranston, RI — AIM, a manufacturer of solder assembly materials, can now offer the lead-free SN100C solder alloy in bar solder form worldwide with the exception of the UK and Ireland. The company has been producing SN100C since 2005 and has helped hundreds of manufacturers to implement lead-free soldering on their production lines.
Currently the alloy is being used in thousands of wave soldering machines around the world, producing millions of circuit boards utilizing SN100C solder.
Prior to this, AIM could sell SN100C solder paste and cored wire globally but was limited to selling SN100C bar solder to the North American and Chinese markets. In addition to being environmentally friendly, the solder offers low cost of use and proven reliability. The company's SN100C products include bar, wire, and solder paste along with compatible flux chemistries.
