Zero Surge Totally Shields Data Centers

Frenchtown, NJ — Zero Surge, Inc. has introduced a unique surge suppression filter solution especially engineered for data center operations to shield uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and connected rack-mounted equipment and sensitive electronics from dangerously high and damaging surge energy let-through.

These power quality filters (Model IR-2U-30T-120) are designed to overcome the minimal surge protection found in most UPS units and ultimately can deliver failure-free service during surges and eliminate the potential for loss or corruption of critical stored data. They have been certified for worst-case surge endurance. The filters integrate patented Total Surge Cancellation (TSC) technology designed to ensure absolutely no let-through of surge energy. In addition, they will remove any EMI/RFI fluctuations from power lines that could otherwise disrupt signals and degrade equipment over time.

Standard filters (30amp capacity for 2 rack units and 120V applications) integrate a 30 amp locking plug and receptacle to avoid any possibility of accidental or inadvertent power disconnect. Custom solutions can be developed to satisfy particular application requirements. All filters are covered by a 10-year warranty. Zero Surge Inc. manufactures USA-made non-degrading panel mount, plug-in, and OEM power quality filters that suppress worst-case surges and perform EMI/RFI power line conditioning. The products eliminate the surge damage and equipment loss often experienced with sacrificial metal oxide varistor (MOV) type surge suppressors.
