Hypertherm Intros Bevel Process Breakthrough
Hanover, NH — Hypertherm is unveiling new edge profiling technology designed to help fabricators and CNC table manufacturers achieve accurate bevel cuts more easily than before. The company's bevel technology includes factory tested mild steel cut charts for all Hypertherm HyPerformance HPRXD plasma systems. These cut charts contain meticulously developed parameters that will significantly reduce the amount of time and effort required to produce quality bevels using plasma.
The company's new plasma bevel technology is designed to deliver accurate and consistent bevels without a lengthy set-up time. The new technology is similar to Hypertherm's patent-pending True Hole
process in that it makes it easy to consistently optimize bevel performance. The benefit to customers is a significant reduction in trial and error time, helping to deliver higher productivity, more throughput, and less waste.
The company plans to embed the cut charts in its CNC/CAM software and make it available to its partners for inclusion with their proprietary CNC/CAM solutions.
Hypertherm is also introducing an all new 3.0kW kilowatt fiber laser system and a 200 amp plasma system. In addition, the company is unveiling a new CNC along with a major update to its popular Phoenix software.
