Industry veteran John Chugg has recently announced his plans for retirement. John is the Midwest Regional Manager for Vitronics Soltec, and after 39 years of faithfully serving the electronics manufacturing industry, as well as his many customers and colleagues worldwide, John has decided that at the end of this year he will call it a career.

John has held multiple positions with many of the industry's key suppliers, such as Hollis Automation, Ultrasonic Power Corporation and Detrex Corporation. John has spent the last 19 years of his long and accomplished career with Vitronics Soltec, and he has been one of the primary contributors to the success of the company over that time period, particularly in the Americas.

“We want to thank John for his unwavering devotion to his craft, customers and colleagues,” said Mick Austin, Vitronics Soltec’s Sales Director - Americas. “His passion and drive will be sorely missed, as will his quick wit, humor and never-ending energy. We wish him and his wife of 39 years, Diane, a well-deserved retirement.”
