This new surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter is designed for narrowband intermediate frequency (IF) filtering such as in satellite transponders, directional finders and anti-jam modems. It is capable of fractional bandwidths of 0.04% to 0.1% and currently available from 80 - 1600 MHz.
"Manufactured on quartz, these filters provide optimal temperature performance and feature low to moderate insertion loss and 50 dB rejection," said Tracy Shaffer, Senior Vice President/Business Manager, RF/Microwave & Microelectronics, API Technologies. "In addition, signal amplification is not required when utilizing these filters."
This TCRF is available in ceramic leadless chip carrier packaging. Other packaging styles are available for more rugged environments and applications. Twelve standard part numbers are available for ordering immediately. Custom designs are also available.
