Multicircuits Acquires Orbotech Paragon 9800 Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) System and OLEC Accutray ATH30 Solder Mask Imager
Mike Thiel, Director of Operations, recently announced the arrival of two key pieces of equipment that will advance technology and provide real-time solutions for customers.

Thiel commented, “As we are focused on providing customers with the highest quality printed circuit boards in the quickest amount of time, it is necessary to invest in technological improvements that maintain Multicircuits’ position as a superior PCB supplier.”
“The Paragon 9800 allows us to process panels with greater consistency and accuracy including minimum lines of 1 mil. Coupled with its ‘first in the USA’ fully automated panel handling and flexibility of configuration, this piece of equipment is truly a powerhouse.”

“Although not as flashy as the Paragon, the Accutray’s capabilities are also quite substantial. The ATH30 will improve both solder mask image registration and throughput by utilizing automated camera assisted alignment versus the current manual pin system.”
Thiel concluded, “As a management team, we thoughtfully consider all procurements, keeping our customer’s prospective technology and time-to-market needs in mind. Our principal goal is to support our customers and facilitate their success.”
