IRphotonics Offers New iCure Products for Assembly Control
Temperature monitoring system.
Hamden, CT — IRphotonics has released two new iCure products to ensure the control and repeatability of assembly processes. The iCure IRT200 Thermo Meter is non-contact Infrared sensor designed to measure the temperature of objects based on their emitted infrared energy. The Thermo Meter measures the heat and converts it into an electrical signal which is proportional to the surface temperature of the cure zone.
Developed to work with the iCure Thermal Spot Curing system, the portable iCure Thermo Meter is composed of a power controller and sensor. It offers a fast and accurate method to monitor temperature and ensures control and repeatability of the assembly process. The product operates over a wide temperature range of -50 to +975°C. According to the company, the product provides easy system configuration and sensor calibration, while measuring a spot down to 0.9mm. Use of this product reportedly ensures repeatability and control of the assembly process, and is suitable for large-scale manufacturing environments.
The iCure TCK200 USB Thermocouple Interface Kit offers a seamless interface with the iCure, allowing precise measurements of temperatures using a range of common contact thermocouples. The TCK200 Thermocouple can be used to calibrate the IRT200 Thermo Meter and to perform process validation in the lab. The system supports up to four J, K, E and T-type thermocouples, and supplies temperature in degrees Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin. The system uses terminal blocks to interface to inexpensive thermocouples with stripped leads, and connects directly to iCure through a USB port.
