Artos Intros New Wire Processing Machine
Wire processing machine weather seals, twists and tins.
Brookfield, WI — Another major breakthrough for Artos Engineering: the evolutionary Cr.22 Wire Processing Machine now enables manufacturers to maximize low-volume, high-mix run production.

Described as the best-in-class-value, the Cr.22 is an advanced version of the company's popular Cr.11 offering up to four processing stations for a wider range of applications such as weather sealing, crimping, twisting and tinning. The Cr.22 is powered by an easy-access single-phase 220VAC supply. Its eco-friendly design reduces energy consumption when compared to stepper motors.

Like the Cr.11, the Cr.22 is specifically designed to handle low- to medium-volume runs that require multiple changeouts during production. The new machine also has the capacity to handle high-volume runs.

Utilizing the latest digital servo technology, the Cr.22 picks up where the Cr.11 leaves off. According to the company, it started with a winner and added capabilities that customers and the industry requested: the weather sealing, wire-twisting and tinning.
